Part of Homeboy Industries -- the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing jobs and opportunities to former gang members and incarcerated individuals -- Homeboy Diner on the second floor of City Hall is home to soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts from Homegirl Cafe and Homeboy Bakery, and is run by a staff in the process of turning their lives around. Homeboy Industries is the parent company to Homeboy Diner, Homegirl Cafe, and Homeboy Bakery: a meal, snack, or pastry from any of which is a contribution to a larger, community-oriented goal, and to each individual participating in the program.
