Venue Info

Founded by two Korean immigrants in 1977, SM Pier Seafood drew flocks of tourists to its Santa Monica storefront for decades. Today, it's run by the founders' daughter and her husband under a different name and with a revamped concept. The new name isn't completely random though -- The Albright refers to the nautical knot that ties together two types of lines, which in this case is symbolic of the two generations. The seaside space maintains its New England crab shack style with classically oriented seafood (clam chowder, lobster rolls, fish & chips) and craft beer.
