One of the best chocolatiers in the city, Valerie Gordon herself, creates every delicate chocolate, truffle, toffee, pie, and cake by hand in her simple Echo Park sweet shop. The spick and span white walls and counters serve as the ideally blank canvas for her thin chocolate drizzles, colorful fruit in flaky folded pastry, and the creatively iced and garnished cakes ranging from traditional sprinkle-covered chocolate to minimally decorated grapefruit.
