Let’s face it, the competition among Cuban restaurants in Miami is pretty fierce. For the most part, the big names are all family-run, so one isn’t necessarily more or less authentic than the last, but everyone seems to have their favorite, for one reason or another. Little Havana Restaurant is one among local favorites, for its location outside of Miami’s Cuban meccas -- Little Havana and Calle Ocho -- for its old-school décor, its Cuban classics, and for its pork tamarind. Because there’s really not a whole lot better than juicy pork swimming in mouth water-inducing citric sauce.
