This longtime favorite for sweet stacks of pancakes is also a Thanksgiving star, thanks to Bubby’s incredible pies in flavors like apple whiskey crumble, pumpkin, and sour cherry. The pies can be ordered for pick-up or shipped to all 50 states, but New Yorkers are the only ones who can get in on the savory action. The restaurant is offering dinner in the dining room and a to-go option that starts with a spread of Deviled Eggs, a Market Salad, Pickled Market Vegetables, and flaky Buttermilk Biscuits. For main courses, there’s a choice of turkey from nearby Pallman Farms, Old-Fashioned Glazed Ham, or Vegetarian Lasagna, all served with family-style orders of cornbread stuffing, roasted root vegetables, candied sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes. And don’t worry, in-person guests will also get to sample the pies for dessert.
