Nom Wah Tea Parlor has been a Chinatown favorite for just short of a century, and the old-time dim sum slinger is getting the contemporary treatment at this fast-casual outpost in Nolita. You can expect popular menu items from the original location, including pork-shrimp shumai and scallion pancakes, plus an expanded selection of plant-based items with a Southern Chinese bent (noodles in vegan broth, rice bowls, kohlrabi salad). The airy space is brighter and cleaner than the Chinatown flagship, with funky-cute dumpling murals smiling down on a new generation of patrons.
