Tortas Condesa



Chef Monica Dimas opened this sandwich counter-serve after witnessing the popularity of the torta at her other Mexican concept, Neon Taco. The Mexico City-style sandwich comes in a few iterations, and though there are vegetarian options, don't pass up the various meat fillings. Tortas Condesa is open late because Dimas knows that after a night of drinking at nearby Montana, there may be nothing more satisfying that a chorizo sandwich topped with cheese and a fried egg. Be sure to grab extra napkins -- there's no neat way to devour a torta.
