The absolutely ace Hogfat Cornbread is reason enough to order the Christmas To-Go package from this homegrown smokehouse. But then there’s the Cinnamon Honey Butter that comes with it, plus the ability to tack on things like Smoked Beef Prime Rib and Whole Turkey Breast, barbecue rubs, cooking fats, and mop sauces, plus sides from fiery Korean Braised Greens to Pimento Mac n’ Cheese, and Rum Raisin Bread Pudding laced with rum anglaise. Ace chef and sommelier (and co-owner) Erin Smith has handpicked some holiday wines available to-go at the Spring Branch shop.

How to book: Order pick-up online by December 19.
If watching the Rams and Bengals face off while stuffing your face with delicious barbecue sounds like a good time, Feges BBQ is all yours. The fan favorite will be screening the game via three indoor projectors as well as on its patio with full audio, and you can score happy hour pricing throughout the game, from $10 quesadillas, half-sized whole hog plates, and chopped brisket sandwiches to a selection of half-off wines and $3 beers.
We know, we know—a barbecue joint is a far cry from “vegetarian,” but we have to tip our hats to Feges for its commitment to offering some truly delicious garden-forward options. Skip the smoked meat and go for a three-side plate, stacked with your choice of offerings from Moroccan Spiced Carrots and Sweet and Spicy Sprouts to Sweet Potato and Banana Mashers. If you’ve got room for dessert, the PB&J Chocolate Cake, richly layered with peanut brittle, is meat-free as well (obvs).
