These DC Restaurants Are Open For Takeout This Holiday Season
In the lead up to the holidays, Chef Andrew Market is debuting his “12 Days of Christmas” specials at his Eastern Market pop-up located at Beuchert’s Saloon. Each day in December, there is a new special, and it culminates on December 12 with 12 drummers drumming—fried chicken loaded with collard greens, mac and cheese, and a homemade biscuit. Market is also offering menus for Christmas. His to-go holiday menu is designed to be a festive menu for two ($90) and four ($170) guests and includes an herb-roasted leg of lamb, rutabaga mash with crispy onions, roasted carrots, and eggnog cheesecake with chocolate ganache.
How to order: The holiday to-go menu can be ordered online or by calling the restaurant at 202-733-1384 for pick up on December 24.
These DC Restaurants Are Open for Thanksgiving Dinner and Takeout
Chef Andrew Markert’s popular pop-up Fight Club and Beuchert’s Saloon is offering to-go Thanksgiving packages easy for reheating. Meal kits are available for two ($75) or four people ($140). Each package includes his famous “Gram’s rolls,” as well as lemon and herb-stuffed turkey ballotine, garlicky mashed potatoes with Sherry gravy and crispy onions, roasted Brussels sprouts with almond gremolata, and sausage stuffing. The to-go Thanksgiving menu also features cocktail and wine pairings including a spiked hot cider and cranberry sangria.
How to order:Order online by November 23, and pick up before November 25.
