Other highlights include omelets brimming with cheese and bacon, buttermilk pancakes with grilled bacon, berries, and warm maple syrup, and burgers complimented with toppings like fried eggs, hash browns, gravy, and you guessed it—more bacon. Even better, diners can down all these treats alongside half-off Mimosas. &nbsp;

The farm-to-table spot puts an emphasis on all things farm, with a focus on locally raised meats and agriculture produced in or around Houston.

They’re currently offering dine-in service, and the the Big Easy-inspired courtyard is definitely something you should experience. Brunchy bistro eats run the gamut from Smoked Salmon Lox Tartines and Croque-Madames to Tamale Benedicts and Buttermilk Biscuits with jalapeño-sausage gravy. Finish it off with an order of Boston Cream Kugelhopf (a fulfilling ring-shaped pastry dusted with sugar), rainbow-hued Macarons, and chocolate-laced Croissants that run bigger than your head. The food here is lowbrow in a good way—think Big Brunch Burgers topped with spicy brown sugar bacon, egg, American cheese, and hash browns; buttery biscuits sopping with house sausage and East Texas cream gravy; and XXL Griddlecakes for two, served with good old-fashioned maple syrup and whipped butter or topped with anything from toasted pecans and blueberries to H-town hot chicken.

Remedy that by indulging in options from Pondicheri’s fast-casual cafe and upstairs bake lab. Wake-me-up treats include Everything but the Kitchen Sink Omelets, Ghee Burgers, gluten-free Dosa Waffles laced with your choice of sweet or savory toppings (fresh herbs, nuts, and citrus, just to name a few), Carrot Quinoa Muffins, and a superlative Chai Custard Pie armed with a cookie crust that definitely qualifies as brunch, no matter what the menu says.

Snag a bottle of bubbly or a Mimosa to pair with Jalapeño Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles, Cheesy Grits and bacon in a spicy fennel broth, Red Velvet Pancakes, and an Eggs Benedict riff that takes crispy chicken, throws it on some honey-coated biscuits, adds poached eggs, and finishes the whole experience with a black pepper cream gravy blanket. Yes, you do deserve this./

With locations dotting the city, this ever-expanding Denver-born chain has earned Houston’s affection one loaded omelet at a time. This is the spot for pancake flights and hollandaise-coated everything, and all of its goods are both wallet-friendly and available for takeout. But the best part? You can unofficially “brunch” here seven days a week. Order delights such as overstuffed Burritos and Tacos, Blueberry Danish Pancakes, French Toast garnished in coconut shavings, fresh fruit, and sweet cream, Habanero Pork Belly Bennies, and Big Bloodys and Lil’ Screwdrivers to wash it all down.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Chef Aaron Bludorn’s namesake stunner is probably Houston’s top culinary addition of the past few years, and the always-excellent Sunday brunch makes that ring even truer. Start with oysters every which way (i.e. raw, fried, and roasted) alongside a Foie Gras Brioche that will leave you swooning before treating yourself to cheesy stars such as Khachapuri (an oval-shaped cheese bread with an egg baked in the center), cheddar- and scallion-decked biscuits, saucy Short Rib Ravioli, and, last but definitely not least, a giant Cinnamon Roll Skillet for the table because, well, duh. Or keep it to yourself, because also… duh.

Sure, you’ll want to visit this <a href="https://www.thrillist.com/eat/houston/houston-s-best-tex-mex-restaurants-lupita-s-ninfa-s-on-navigation-molina-s-cantina" rel=" noopener" target="_blank">Tex-Mex haven</a> for insanely good fajitas and spicy queso dip, but hit it up a little earlier in the day to get in on the badass weekend brunch. That’s when the OG platters storm the stage in a savory performance, starting with Huevos Rancheros plated with crispy bacon, Pecan Waffles drizzled with either maple, agave, or Jamaica syrup, Chilaquiles Verdes, and Mexican-style Shrimp and Grits before moving onto a Red Chile Pork Posole sure to cure any hangover (with help from a Bloody Maria or two, obviously).

A Spaghetti Sandwich is likely something you never knew you wanted, but trust us when we say you most definitely do. It’s just one of many the wonders dreamt up by Justin Yu, Bobby Heugel, and the rest of the clever BLT crew. Sharing the spotlight is the tastiest Bloody Mary in town—plus a tomatillo version if you’re feeling tangy—both of which sit pretty next to that burrata-topped, parmesan-crusted hand-held pasta masterpiece. Equally as important is the MOB (mortadella on a bun with anchovy aioli, pepperoncini, and fried egg), and the sweet-and-sour Griddled Pancakes, which illuminates in flavor with their sweet cream cheese, streusel crumblings, and pickled berry toppings. Oh, and don’t forget the beef gravy-topped Hangover Hash Browns—let’s just say they’re awaiting your call.
