These DC Restaurants Are Open For Takeout This Holiday Season
Chef Tim Ma’s latest enterprise is a pop-up restaurant called Lucky Danger. And for Christmas Day, he’s serving up a playful Chinese take-out menu as many might do as part of an annual tradition. The pop-up restaurant is located in Prather’s on the Alley and has an entire portion of the menu dedicated to Chinese-American dishes, such as broccoli beef, succulent pork belly served with a combination of preserved mustard greens; and crispy noodles with shrimp, flounder, cuttlefish, or fresh vegetables. Family-style, multi-course feasts serving two to three and four to five present a great option for groups, and don’t skip out on the cocktails, the Duck Sauce, with tequila, Sichuan peppercorn, peach, and lemon is a personal Ma favorite.
