Nic’s On Beverly
20 Awesome Meals and Deals to Hit During dineLA Restaurant Week
One of the most romantic restaurants in the city is participating in Restaurant Week with lunch and dinner menus that highlight their most popular plant-based dishes. Nic’s is also one of the few restaurants that’s offering completely different lunch and dinner menus, making it tempting to stop by (at least) twice while they’re on offer. For lunch, you’ll start with their famous avocado crispy rice, followed by your choice of a Detroit-style wood-fired pie or a farro bowl with grilled tofu, sugar snap peas, baby carrots, heirloom tomatoes, and napa cabbage, and your choice of a single scoop of vanilla iced cream with a chocolate chip cookie hot fudge, peanuts, and whipped cream or butterscotch pudding for dessert. Dinner takes it up a notch with tempura maitake mushrooms, gratin fries dressed in a secret harissa sauce, or butter lettuce cups with Beyond pork sausage to start; pesto strozzapreti pasta, a falafel burger, or a Detroit-style pepperoni pizza with field-roasted pepperoni as your main course options; and dark chocolate mousse or butterscotch pudding for dessert.
The deal: Three-course lunch for $35 and three-course dinner for $45.
What to order: For lunch: avocado crispy rice, farro bowl, and vanilla iced cream. For dinner: gratin fries, Detroit-style pepperoni pizza, and dark chocolate mousse.
