This Tattoo GIF Is Mesmerizing

After reaching out to eleven of his friends and having each of them tattoo one frame of Eadweard Muybridge's famous “Sallie Gardner at a Gallop" on each of their arms, a photographer paid homage to a revolutionary piece of art by compiling every photograph into an epic GIF that demonstrates exactly how series photography works.

The original photo series, which consists of 24 pictures of a horse running in rapid succession, was taken in 1878 and is widely known as a precursor to the development of motion pictures. Sure makes that infinity symbol on your lower calf look like a real piece of sh*t.

Jeremy Glass has only ridden a horse once and was frankly shocked by the sheer amount of poop those damn animals produce.
