TOMS Is Making Coffee/Saving The World

TOMS, the company known for outfitting impoverished children and fashionable hipsters with sustainable footwear, has taken a leap into the world of gourmet coffee. Under the guidance of Master Roaster Angel Orozco, TOMS Roasting Co. now sells six unique roasts that uphold the company's "one for one" policy by supplying a person in need with 140 liters of water for every bag they sell.

Sourced using Direct Trade practices, each batch is micro-roasted and taste-tested to ensure the utmost quality before it hits the consumer's tongue. Each flavor sounds as exotic as the countries they come from; Rwanda Roast is floral and citrusy, while the Malawi Roast is described as having notes of marmalade and chocolate.

Each of the blends are available online and at their flagship store in Venice, California. It's pretty awesome knowing your morning caffeine boost can potentially save someone's life. You really can't say the same thing about most cups of coffee.

Jeremy Glass loves gourmet coffee dearly, but will always have a place in his heart for Dunkin' Donuts.
